Photo Explosion Deluxe is a great program for anyone looking to organize, enhance, and share their photos. It has a great selection of templates for creating business or greeting cards, calendars, and other design products. It also has a powerful conversion tool for converting images between different formats in single or batch mode. The slideshow creator is also a great feature, allowing users to easily create slideshows and burn them onto CD discs. Highly recommended!
Photo Explosion Deluxe 3 is a complete digital photo studio. It offers a comprehensive suite of tools designed to help you to get the most from your digital images. Photo Explosion Deluxe is primarily used for three purposes: organizing photos, enhancing photos, and creating photo-based projects. The software provides powerful enhanced photo editing, photo organizing features, special effects, and a whole range of over 3,000 ready-made designs for transforming your favorite photos into business cards, greeting cards, calendars and more. You can manage your collection, edit, enhance photos and share them via the internet, e-mail or on a CD. Besides, there are templates to help you prepare images for handheld computers, PDAs, mobile phones, and similar devices. You can choose from a range of templates for quick editing or you can transfer photos from digital camera, scanner. If you choose to browse your images you can view all the pictures stored on your PC. From here you can perform batch conversions on a folder of images. Unfortunately, this area of the software unstable, as switching from one window to another it crashed. It is easy to find photos as active photos and projects appear as thumbnails. The ability to burn photo slide shows onto CD is also included. You can add background music to the CD if you wish, and then play it on supporting DVD players. From the editing window you can access the enhancement tools, for removing errors such as red eye, as well as adding special effects, text and borders. But the menu system here can be rather awkward. Click on the Edit button to reveal a toolbar of options and then click on each of these to view a dropdown menu of choices - not the most intuitive system. Photo Explosion Deluxe comes on four CDs.
